    Hi,

I will deploy Dominos server 6.5 (linux version) for my client.
I m investigating the sizing issue of running Dominos mail server in
linux while having antivirus running in the same box.
I will use a P4, single CPU wiht 512 MB DDR RAM for the server.
Is this enuf for 30 users? When will I need to increase RAM?
Is better off install antivirus in a seperate box?

    Thanks
    sam

Should be OK for mail - I always prefer at least 1GB of RAM.
Is the P4 HyperThreaded? If yes, then you should run SuSE not RH - RH /
Domino is not certified for multiprocessor.
Anti virus has to be on the same box otherwise you cannot scan mail files
and you will need a Domino based AV product - we use Symantec.
