Duplication of jpeg or gif files when sent via Lotus Notes R5 version

    Our IT people cant crack, but I get complaints that when I attach any
    jeg or gif file as attachment, when received in any programme other
    than Lotus eg
    O/Exp/Outlook even web mail it always attaches everything twice [in
    these formats onl~ doesnt happen with .doc/.xls etc..

    Any clues pse?????????
